About VGS
The Village Golf Shop opened in 2006, offering custom fitted clubs and repairs. The owner and clubfitter, Joe Basile, has been making clubs for almost 10 years, and comes from a rich hands-on-get-it-right business background. We use our Fitting Studio to evaluate your swing speed, launch angle, tempo, etc. - alot of parameters, all of them collected so we can make you a better golf club.
Our repair shop is fully equipped to handle any repair, upgrade or replacement you may require. We employ state-of-the-art balancing equipment to MOI match your set, as well as offer shaft-spining services (in-house). Need new grips? Come see us. Broke your driver shaft? Ditto. We offer a complete line of OEM replacement parts, grips and shafts, as well as the best custom components availble from Tom Wishon Golf Technology.
